2001-03 Extended Vision is a response to a nation-wide call for art for a “house of mathematics.” Comprised of 100 anodyzed aluminum panels, the piece extends through three floors of the Cowles Mathematics building at the University of Utah. Extended Vision is the largest of Bliss’ site specific works. Her multifaceted visualization expresses the structural connections with the sciences, arts, and culture while suggesting the range and beauty of mathematics. |
